Located in Khao Lak, Thailand, all rooms and suites at Palm Galleria Resort-SHA Extra Plus feature contemporary Thai architecture and are decorated with colourful Thai fabrics and artwork. All rooms have a private balcony, which provides a beautiful view of the ocean, lagoons or gardens.

Amazing staff and breakfast

Super friendly staff and an amazing breakfast. Especially the Thai breakfast was a pleasant surprise every morning.

Location is a bit inconvenient. It's a nice area but if you want to go to town you have to grab a taxi which build up the cost.

Calm area

The property is really beautiful and we loved our stay in Palm Galleria. You’ll find local restaurants behind the hotel, a beach (perfect for sunsets) and memories beach (25 min) and coconut beach (15 min) accessibles by feet. The only thing to have in mind is that you are far from the city center and the price for the taxi is expensive.

Pleasant

The resort was quiet when we were there and pretty much had the big pool to ourselves. The complex is a little tired, but they are hoping to do it up soon. Staff were good. Breakfast was fine. Fair way off the main road, we had a car, so it was fine. You will need some form of transport to get there

A really quiet secluded location but not that far from anything

It was nicely set out out and the room was great. The pool very clean and a short walk to the beach. The staff were extremely accommodating and polite. I live in Phuket but i would come here again to relax. Very quiet and beautiful gardens.

Nothing bugged me about this property.

Very worthwhile

This is a strange, but lovely place. Sandwiched between two resorts that have closed down due to the Covid pandemic and left abandoned like ghost towns, this hotel/resort is still keeping up appearances. There is an enormous shortage of staff in Thailand, so the 16 people in service have to juggle several balls to keep the venue running. And they do it admirably.! The concierge on duty is a very sweet, smart and communicative Filipino that rains over this quaint kingdom. We were there during off-season, and therefore there was a superb quietness all around. It’s closeness to Memory beach is a fantastic asset. You walk within 15 minutes to a wonderful surfspot. The resort itself is well laid out reasonably well kept and has a wonderful price/quality ratio. A lovely though rather warm pool:-) and ampel well furnished rooms, with wonderful bathrooms, and A/C. Nice old school entrance with swinging benches. These people deserve to survive these difficult times! Great bonus were the three Buddhist monks that had their breakfast in total silence at the table beside us. Rather serene and godly.

Skip the breakfast!!! There are so few people these days that they can’t stock up on fresh stuff. It’s not their fault. It will be yours.

Excellent place to stay in a calm area, nice host, and with a nice beach nearby

The staff was very kind and welcoming, especially Sam who helped us organizing tours, booked us a car to the port and gave us some very good tips about restaurent and things to visit. The resort is calm, with a huge swimming pool that the kids loved and a free shuttle to go to the beach nearby. Big and clean room. Very nice breakfast and restaurent. Overall an excellent stay!

Lovely garden and poolarea in quiet area near beautiful beach

The pool, the garden, the location (quiet) was really what made this place. Beautiful poolarea and it was very relaxing. And friendly staff.

An adequate resort that is well placed, with a bit more attention to detail could be much better

Good location with lovely restaurants 2-300 yards away, Blue Sea being particularly good. Good sized pool although some rooms are quite a distance away

Breakfast was limited, for those enjoying local cuisine, with servings of bland stir fried vegetables and boiled rice - they could do so much better

Absolutely fantastic for a quiet family vacation

The staff was amazingly friendly. The pool area was nice and a great place to chill. Rooms were big and either had a nice terrace or balcony. All in all we loved our stay there. It was a big bonus that the food at the hotel restaurant, especially the Thai food, was both good and cheap. The location was great. Even though its not in Khao Lak but about 15 mins drive away, it is only a few minutes from the beach. Right next door to resort there was a small shop selling drinks and snacks and lots of restaurants in walking distance.

They need to invest in a new dart board and table tennis ball.

Deluxe rooms were spacious and bed was really comfy. Pool is great with plenty of sun loungers. General manager is very helpful and friendly.

Area is a little remote with only a few restaurants down the road. If you like peace and quiet this is the place for you!

If you want a quiet resort within walking distance of excellent uncrowded beaches this would suit.

It's quiet. Breakfast was adequate but perhaps not up to some people's standard. Pool excellent, particularly for children. No beach frontage would be a drawback for some Basic shopping and basic local restaurants a plus

Not a lot to dislike. For some the location may be abit remote and there is a need to walk to the beach or take a taxi into town. Staff need to be more proactive in "selling" local tours

It was really out of season, but we were well looked after and the hotel showed great flexibility.

We were the only people staying in the hotel. It was REALLY out of season. We had a non-refundable non-changeable deal, but the hotel allowed us to change dates, which was excellent. And we were well looked after.
